Apex Fundraiser & Fun Run - 2026

Event Goals:

Fundraiser: Raise money for field trips and special school assembly guests
Teaches leadership through the Apex leadership curriculum
Gets the students excited about the start of a new school year

Fun Run Date & Time: Thursday, August 27th, 2026

TK-2nd: 8:30 - 10 a.m.

3rd-5th: 10 - 11:45 a.m.

Donation / Pledges Window: Pledges can be collected August 17-26th via the link sent home with your student(s)

Location: Bracher athletic field

Cost: Free for students to participate. Even if students do not get any pledges or donations they are still allowed to participate in the run!

Activities:

Students will be run laps in the final stage of our Apex fundraiser. The more laps they run, the more donation money their pledges have committed to send!

Prizes will be distributed in classrooms the next day.

Direct Donations:

If you would prefer to make a direct donation to the school instead, contact the front office for instructions.

We need volunteers to help with:

Marking laps for the kids
Water station support
Cheerleading and encouraging runners

Absolutely! Just check in with the office before making your way to the field. You can stay for the entire event or just come when you are able and leave when you must.
Note that guests of Bracher students, including younger siblings, are expected to adhere to the school code of conduct while on campus!
No, but water will be provided to the students.
We recommend asking for flat donations instead of pledges (which are donations that are based on how many laps your student runs). Donations also help the school and are counted towards your child’s earned rewards, even if they are not able to participate in the Fun Run.
We understand! Life happens. We ask you to let the office staff know to forward a message to PTA or send an email to bracherpta@gmail.com as soon as possible so we may plan accordingly.
PTA helps provide funds for field trips, the school’s art program, and special guests that bring educational opportunities to campus.

Instructions will be sent home with your student along with their unique access code so that all flat donations and pledges can be linked to them.

Awards will be calculated after the child has completed laps on Thursday’s Fun Run event and distributed in class on Friday, the day after the Fun Run.
